Vice President, Corporate M&A – Telecoms & Infrastructure – Madrid

We are working with the Corporate M&A team of a leading telecoms and infrastructure group in Madrid. The team is expanding and is looking to appoint a Vice President level M&A professional to support its strategic transactions across Telecoms, Broadband and Infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for an advisory professional looking to make their first move into a strategic, in-house Corporate M&A role.

The Role

• Work on the origination, evaluation and execution of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and partnerships
• Build financial models and valuation analysis to support investment decisions
• Prepare materials for senior management and internal investment committees
• Coordinate due diligence and work closely with external advisers and internal business teams
• Contribute to the group’s strategic planning across its Telecoms, Broadband and Infrastructure businesses

The Candidate

• Five to seven years of M&A advisory experience from a Big 4 Advisory firm, an advisory boutique or an Investment Bank
• Currently operating at Vice President level, or a senior Associate ready to step up
• Sector experience in TMT, Infrastructure or FIG, or a strong Generalist background
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution skills
• Looking for a first strategic role in Corporate M&A
• Fluent Spanish is essential
• Based in Madrid, or currently in London and looking to move back to Madrid
