Associate, Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Investment Banking – New York

We are partnering with a leading full-service investment bank to appoint an Associate to its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Investment Banking team in New York.

The group advises utilities, independent power producers, renewables developers, infrastructure owners and financial sponsors on M&A, capital raising and strategic transactions across the energy transition.

The Role

• Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A, capital markets and financing transactions across power, utilities and infrastructure
• Build and review financial models, including DCF, merger, LBO and project-level models, and lead valuation work
• Prepare pitch materials, board presentations and transaction documents
• Manage and mentor Analysts, taking day-to-day ownership of workstreams
• Work directly with senior bankers and clients through the full deal cycle

The Candidate

• Investment Banking experience at Analyst or Associate level, ideally within power, utilities, energy or infrastructure
• Strong modeling, valuation and financial analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with close attention to detail
• Degree from a leading university; an MBA or CFA is a plus but not required
• Based in New York, or willing to relocate to the city
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
