Senior Vice President, Power & Utilities Investment Banking – New York

We are partnering with an elite advisory boutique to appoint a Senior Vice President to its Power & Utilities Investment Banking team in New York.

This is a senior deal role for a banker who can lead execution and play an active part in origination, working closely with the team’s Managing Directors.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and advisory transactions across the power and utilities sector
• Support and increasingly lead origination, developing relationships with corporates, infrastructure funds and financial sponsors
• Manage deal teams, developing Vice Presidents, Associates and Analysts
• Oversee financial models, valuation analysis and transaction materials
• Be a key point of contact for clients through the life of a transaction

The Candidate

• Currently a Senior Vice President, or a strong Vice President ready to step up, in Power & Utilities Investment Banking
• Extensive transaction execution experience in the sector, with growing origination responsibility
• Excellent financial, valuation and transaction structuring skills
• Strong client-facing and team leadership skills
• Based in New York, or willing to relocate to the city
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
